Shanagolden & District Community Council is a nonprofit community organisation, made up of representatives from a diverse cross-section of the community. Its overarching aim is to continuously look for and effect ways which will enhance the lives and general surroundings of those living within and those visiting Shanagolden. This is done by holding fortnightly meetings with our members who themselves represent various interests throughout the Community and by liaising with various Government and non-Government agencies to ensure proposed enhancements are implemented.

Are a group of 24+ volunteers who work tirelessly in their free time for the benefit of our community. Each week, the combined efforts of our volunteers is in excess of 50 hours and for that, we are very grateful and appreciative of their efforts.
